This is a new cigar out on the market from Cuba in September and I smoked this cigar in London a few days ago. It shows lots of spice, smoked nut and coffee bean character with dry tobacco undertones. It’s full-bodied, but isn’t harsh or overbearing on the palate. I was concerned it might be a little raw. But it delivers the Partagas spice character I expect with the brand in a slightly dark wrappered way. Definitely a different experience than smoking an edicion limitada Partagas. My only complaint is that it doesn’t look like a maduro with more of a dark brown colorado wrapper, but it’s an attractive smoke all the same.
